Pupil Premium Grant
The Pupil Premium Grant was introduced in April 2011. The Pupil Premium is additional funding that is paid to schools in respect of their disadvantaged pupils.
This money is allocated by the Government to schools for children who are eligible for free school meals (FSM) or children who have been looked after continuously for more than six months (Looked after children LAC). Schools receive this funding to support their eligible pupils and narrow the attainment gap between them and their peers.
